How to Play SLYGO
SLYGO is a fast browser snake arena built around movement, growth, positioning and short tactical decisions. Steer your worm, collect food, manage Mass, use powers at the right time and avoid giving opponents an easy collision.
Controls and movement
On desktop, move the pointer to steer. On touch devices, use the on-screen movement control. Your worm continuously moves forward, so the key skill is choosing a safe line before you run out of space.
Boost increases movement speed and spends Mass. Use it to escape pressure, reach food, reposition or create a fast attack. Because Mass is also part of your growth, holding boost for too long can leave you smaller and easier to trap.
Combat and Snap Headshot
Body collision is lethal: if your head runs into another worm's body, you can be eliminated. A player can also use their own body as space control by forcing another worm into a dangerous line.
Boost by itself is not a headshot. SLYGO's Snap Headshot requires a real boosted fast flick and valid combat conditions. Protection can temporarily change collision behavior for its owner, so watch active powers before committing to contact.
Current game modes
Quick Match
An online three-minute race. The first player to die loses immediately. If both players survive to 3:00, the higher score wins; equal scores are a draw. Validated performance can earn XP, and wins plus validated arena pickups can earn Coins.
Private Match
A registered-friends-only three-minute race. The same death-first rule applies. If both survive, score decides the winner and equal scores draw. Private Match does not award Coins; the winner can receive a limited score-based XP reward, with repeat-match protection against farming.
Training
Solo practice with AI worms. Training is the place to learn steering, boost timing, powers and combat without direct XP or Coin match rewards.
Powers and pickups
Current arena powers include Speed, Protection, Magnet Surge, Headshot, Double Growth and Radar Scan. Their purpose is tactical: movement bursts, temporary protection, stronger pickup reach, combat opportunities, growth support and wider awareness.
Food and other arena pickups help you grow or create short advantages. Power timing matters more than simply collecting everything immediately; sometimes saving a safe route is more valuable than chasing a pickup through another worm's body line.
XP, Coins and progression
SLYGO uses XP, levels, Coins, achievements, daily tasks, Snake Lab unlocks and specialization progression. Reward rules depend on the mode. Competitive rewards are validated before settlement so a browser cannot simply claim a win, score, pickup or reward amount on its own.
Coins are virtual in-game currency used for supported game content. They are not cash and have no guaranteed real-world value. Training is designed for practice, while Quick Match and supported account systems provide the main progression path.
Accounts and social play
Guests can start quickly and can use supported guest progression. Registration protects supported progress behind an account and unlocks account-only social features such as Friends, Chat and Private Match. Registered players can sign in with the login options shown on the SLYGO login screen.
Fair play
Do not use modified clients, automated play, traffic manipulation, fake ad completions or other methods intended to create an unfair advantage. Match and reward systems use trusted validation and abuse checks, and invalid rewards can be rejected or removed.
